Long Weekend At The Music City (Nashville Weekend Getaway)

Long Weekend At The Music City
(Nashville Weekend Getaway)
 Hi guys!
 Welcome back to another blog.
Last month I had a little trip to Nashville, Tennessee for my first time visiting this city.
This trip was brought up a few weeks ago when all of my friends and I got together,
talking about our previous and future trips we just decided to book flights and Airbnb for Nashville,
next thing you know our trip was coming up in the next 3 weeks and off we go!
A few of my friends had arrived the day prior from my arrival,
I took an early morning flight from Miami to Nashville with the rest of my friends.
One of my first impression of Nashville was the amount of cultural reference to its music's industry.
As soon as you arrive to Nashville International Airport you can feel the vibrant music references
and the same goes for the great Old Smokey Distilleries advertising.
While I had visited Tennessee before on different hiking trips and one-time trip to Gatlinburg
way back in 2016 I actually never got the chance to experience Nashville as the city itself.
One of the best ways to experience Nashville is by exploring the city's vibrant neighborhoods.
From the trendy boutiques and art galleries of 12 South to the honky-tonks of Broadway,
each neighborhood in Nashville has its own unique vibe.
You can also visit the many rooftop and live music bars in the Broadway.
The ones I can suggest and were my favorites were the following:
Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse, Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar,
Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, Honky Tonk Central, Nudie's Honky Tonk,
Luke's 32 Bridge among many other great bars just to name a few.
While I enjoy the rooftop bars during the morning the best times to go is obviously at night,
the vibrant and party feeling it is just amazing to experience,
I haven't felt this kind of vibes since probably my last time I went to cities like Boston or New Orleans.
In addition to its music scene, Nashville is also known for its delicious Southern cuisine.
From hot chicken to BBQ to biscuits and gravy, there is no shortage of tasty dishes to try in Nashville.
Out of all places we walked by the one that got us our attention was Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint.
It's a just a couple of blocks away from Broadway and all the party scenery which I enjoyed,
huge place with a great patio inside along with many games for visitors to entertained themselves.
A great BBQ place to enjoy while in Nashville.
Other places I could recommend is the famous Butter Milk Ranch
which was one of our many choices to eat some breakfast,
my not favorite part was the crazy 2-hour line you had to stand in while you order to go,
it is also one of the most famous places here in Nashville as well.
Milk & Honey Gulch is another great place you guys will like and enjoy for breakfast,
when I got there on Friday morning it was one of the places we visited first,
pretty local and close to Broadway as well.
There are other many places that we didn't get a chance to visit because there is simply so much to do.
One of the top attractions that I wanted to visit is the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum.
Here, you can learn about the history of country music and see memorabilia from their favorite artists.
The museum also hosts live performances and special exhibits, making it a must-see for music lovers.
For those looking to experience some natural beauty,
Nashville is located close to several state parks and outdoor attractions.
While this time around I didn't come up for a "hiking trip" you can find many local trails
around the city and also on the outskirt of the Nashville as well.
Overall, visiting Nashville for a long weekend is a fun and memorable experience.
As I have mentioned before, I had an amazing time with my friends and new people I met over there.
Whether you're a music lover, a foodie, or an outdoor enthusiast,
Nashville has something for everyone and  is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who visit.
I can favorably say Nashville ranks up there for one of the best cities to have a great time
up there with cities like Boston, New Orleans, St. Augustine, if you are into this type of atmosphere.
It has been an amazing trip to Nashville and I couldn't have asked for a better city to visit.
Hope you guys enjoy some of my favorite photos from this trip,
get yourself a plane ticket to Nashville and visit this amazing city!
See you next time Nashville.
