Day 3: Havasupai Falls, Arizona (One Week Adventure)

Day 3: Havasupai Falls, Arizona
Greetings readers,
Day 3 will be about the hidden and famous Havasupai Falls.
This place is magical, astonishing and breathtaking.

Day 3:
After a successful hike on Angels Landing, it was time for us to move on to the next course; Havasupai Falls.
Driving down to Arizona was kind of long, and tiresome. Getting to the famous (Indian Road 18) which is the only main road that will take you straight to the Havasupai Trailhead, one of the main reservation stations; expect for this drive a minimum of 1-hour drive, and especially at night it might take you longer because of wild animals passing by at night.
Starting our preparation for the hike at a specific time was important for us, only knowing that this was about 10-mile hike, but from my own experience it does feel like more.
This is the moment when everything just feels great; hiking through the stunning Canyon’s Valley, the serenity, tranquility, and amazing view; it just a special moment; but let’s keep going we’re not there yet.

We spotted the Havasupai Falls sign, here is when we knew we were close to the Havasupai Reservation Station, but before getting there you would passed by the quiet Havasupai Village, from farm houses, crop lands, a church, and other properties.
At last but not least, we see the Havasupai Reservation Station which we registered to get our camp site, and passes; this location of Havasupai is full of hikers, it was just amazing greeting and knowing people from different places of the world. In order to get to the camp site zone, we needed to hike another 2-hike miles, this is the moment when you start encountering with some of the most beautiful falls ever, until you see the one and only Havasupai Falls! This moment was precious, is like finding a hidden city, or something you’ve searching for so long. It is a feeling that can’t be describe, you have to struggle, to keep going, you have to be there to experience this amazing feeling.

Since we got early to Havasupai Falls, the day was just starting for us, we encounter other Falls, like the huge Mooney Falls. The beauty of all, each of this fall connects one way with each other, you either hike your way to the next fall, or you can swim and enjoy the crystal blue water from Havasupai.
Our departure was early in the morning, and we headed back for another 4-5 hours’ hike, this time we really did struggle more than the usual, the shiny sun, the heat coming through the valleys, it was exhausting. Nether less to say, this place is magic, exceptional, amazing, is one of those unique places on planet Earth, to this day I feel lucky enough to have made it, and experience something unimaginable, a dream come true, made for those who encounter the wilderness and love to travel.

This is the place for you, for me, for us.
Oh god, after all I do miss Havasupai Falls.
A dream come true.
On my next post I will be talking about
Day 4: Half Dome, California
Stay tuned for more.
