Grandfather Mt. (North Carolina)

Whenever I get a chance from the everyday routine

I always choose to go hiking!

This past weekend the road took us to Grandfather Mt., North Carolina.

For a long time,

I have always wanted to do this hike,

and learning a winter storm was striking NC this weekend,

it felt like the perfect moment to visit.

I like to go as comfortable as I can for my hike trips,

I always bring my double puff jacket from RBX Active;

which I bought a couple months back on Burlington at a really affordable price.

This jacket is so great in so many ways,

having two puff layers is a great advantage,

when feeling too cold you can wear all over it you,

and when is too hot just simply wear detached one-layer!

My waterproof pants are from Amazon Outdoors section,

to this day I’m so surprised how cheap and good these pants are for the long walks.

Nevados boots are my longtime saviors.

Literally, these boots have been through mud, rain, dust, etc,

and to this day they still perform great!

These are kind of boots you always want to have!

Hiking Grandfather Mt. seemed like a great challenge,

as I like to challenge myself with all the hikes.

Reaching the peak of the mountain,

and looking back at the beautiful scenery,

it is somewhat refreshing and peaceful in so many ways.

Grandfather Mt. is a definitely top place I would recommend to everyone

who feels they need to escape reality for just a weekend.
