I can never stop, seriously!

It feels like when I'm back from a long trip (Colorado)

I always have something else plan for the following weekend.

 Anyways, this past weekend it was one of my friend's birthday weekend

and guess what?

We had booked a hotel at Daytona Beach.

For a moment I had forgotten about this weekend in Daytona,

good thing is that I was able to pack pretty early and left same Friday afternoon. 

Traffic at that time sucks,
knowing it was a good 4-hour drive,
I'd figured I was going to get there pretty late (12am).
The next morning it was all about the beach, pool & drinks!
The Shores Hotel accommodated us with a spacious room,
and a breath-taking view of the Atlantic Ocean.
From the pool there is staircase entrance that leads right into the beach,
which it was perfect!
We spent half the day by the beach,
listening to music, playing volleyball, catching the waves!
It was a pretty amazing vibe,
nothing like a good old day at the beach!
In the afternoon,
we decided to hit the pool and yes that includes a lot of drinks.
Soft breeze and amazing weather was all we needed to enjoy the pool! 
The Shores Hotel has a great way to enjoy your evening,

they light up these bonfires for the guests to come down,

and enjoy a night full of s'mores and bonfire.

I'm telling you, the best vibe ever!

Leaving the hotel on Sunday was not fun,
you always feel like there's a need to stay for more than just weekend,
but riding down to Miami we made another stop,
and that place was Cocoa Beach!
Now this beach has it all:
a pier, restaurants, bars, gift shops, you name it!
For the moment I arrived to Cocoa Beach I never wanted to leave,
we visited the pier and the Rikki Tiki Bar,
which by the way has the best bar location ever!
Having a drink on the pier with a gorgeous view
and the best beach I've seen in a while,
is gotta everything I wanted for the summer.
Already planning to go back to visit before the summer ends.
I really had the best time visiting Daytona Beach for the first time,
and getting to stop at Cocoa Beach is definitely a must!
Overall, I couldn't ask for a better weekend,
but it doesn't stop here,
This following weekend I will be leaving for Punta Cana, DR for a whole week!
Yes, you heard right a whole week!
I'm excited and happy for this coming trip because it means vacation time!
