Valentine's Weekend Escape At Wyndham Orlando Resort

 Valentine's Weekend Escape At
Wyndham Orlando Resort
Hello my fellow travelers.
It's the time of the year again for Valentine's Day.
Here's a quick and short blog I did from our Valentines weekend at Orlando.
For the past couple of days Lizi and I were looking for a escape for Valentines weekend.
This time around we wanted to bring Max with us as we didn't have anybody to leave him with,
We didn't want to get out of the state or to look for anything far away from home,
I checked many cities around Florida such as Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, Tampa Area, etc.
and while some of these places were really nice they were also very pricey for what we wanted.
Our last bet was our dearly and beloved Orlando!
After checking out some Airbnbs we were not able to locate anything that was on our best interest,
however, we did came up with this neat hotel Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive
and we thought it was the perfect option for this weekend.
This hotel checked out all the boxes for us; it was affordable, pet friendly,
great location, and had a variety of facilities within the hotel.
Without doubt we booked it right away before it got sold out.
Friday night we left our apartment and drive up to Orlando for the weekend!
We checked in late night at our hotel room and we were pretty tired
so we decided to call it a night and rest for the next day.
Saturday was all about exploring and enjoying our hotel resort.
First, we started walking around the hotel to explore some of the amenities it had,
there is this beautiful walkway from our hotel room to the outdoor pool area
with a view to their fountain/pond that was very relaxing and with great vibes.
The pool deck was very nice and comfortable nothing too extravagant,
couple of lounge chairs with umbrellas and an awesome bar with excellent service and staff.
What I loved the most about this hotel is their perfect location!
We were literally 100-200 feet walk from our hotel room to Wawa,
which was our closest convenience store.
The good thing about this Wyndham Hotel is that is located in the iconic plaza Icon Park
and offers a great variety of restaurants and entertainment around this plaza.
We could literally walk to any of these places from our hotel room,
so this was definitely a big plus for us.
Although, at night we decided to explore more of Downtown Orlando
which we have never visited before and ended up eating at World Of Beer for the night.
We walked around the famous Lake Eola Park which was splendid and beautiful at night,
this Downtown Orlando area made me feel different and was one of the highlights of the night,
even Lizi and I talked about thinking of moving to Orlando
and it would be just because of places like this one.
After some time strolling around we decided to go CityWalk
and go bar-hopping for the rest of the night.
We visited the great bar of Pat O'Brien's which I was dying to go and
I haven't been to a Pat O'Brien's since my last time in New Orleans.
Fat Tuesday was next to it so we had to check it out as well,
and Lizi loved the Bob Marley-A Tribute To Freedom as she enjoys dancing so much
and I must say we had a great time at this Bob Marley live reggae stage.
Overall, it was a fun and great weekend all around,
I feel like we needed this after a couple of weeks of struggle and ordinary things going on in our lives,
it is never too late to plan and enjoy a getaway trip to any local city in your state.
Anyways, guys I hope everyone had a great Valentines weekend and day as well.
Excited to mention that I have a kayaking trip coming soon on the
first weekend of March and I can't wait to get out there with the boys,
this is another great trip we have been planning for a couple
of weeks now and cannot wait to do the blog for this trip.
I'll catch you guys on the next blog post and stay tuned on my social media.
