Johnson Lake / Cascade Ponds (Banff National Park Hiking Expedition)

Johnson Lake / Cascade Ponds
(Banff National Park Hiking Expedition)
Hello everyone!
Another short blog of my Banff National Park hiking expedition.
After waking early at Two Jack Lane I was heading next to Johnson Lake to hike this small park.
Johnson Lake has a 2-mile loop trail which it is considerate a short hike for those that enjoy it,
it also looks like your typical park to hang out or to spend a picnic day at this park.
I really quite enjoyed this loop trail as it takes all around the park with a sweet view at the lake,
as you can see on the pictures I took there some pretty great sights of the mountains and trees.
I think the best time to visit will be on fall season that's where you'll get the most of this park.
Next I headed to Cascade Ponds, this is just another typical park that was close to Johnson Lake.
There were no trails assigned on this park, however, you can freely walk around it.
They have several picnic tables and areas for families and kids.
While walking around the park I was able to find a trail that leads to another park,
somehow I found out it is a connection to Johnson Lake park, believe it or not.
I didn't go through with this route because since I have been to Johnson Lake
already there was no point on taking this trail back to the park again,
however, it was pretty cool to spot the map sign with the trail connection.
Anyways, you guys can check out most of the photos of these
two small but amazing parks, hope you guys enjoy it!
