Angels Landing (Utah Hiking Expedition)

Angels Landing (Utah Hiking Expedition)
Hello everyone, welcome back to a new blog series!
This time around I will be uploading a new series of posts for my Utah Hiking Expedition in November.
After spending the last two months at home working on my photography, and other
several projects, it was time to check map Earth and embark in a new hiking expedition.
In this case, my friend Damian came up to me with the idea of visiting
the great state of Utah and doing hiking activities only in Utah.
He had already started working on an itinerary for this trip and other things to do around Utah,
one of the main places he had was Angels Landing which no doubt is a personal favorite for us.
Next thing you know a couple of days before we had booked our flights and we were heading to Utah.
For our first hike we were coming back to the classic and beautiful Angels Landing,
we were so excited to be back at one of our favorite spots in Utah and we haven't
been here since our One Week Adventure expedition back in 2017.
As soon as we got to Zion National Park we started hiking our way to Angels Landing
late in the morning, since the 10-hour drive from Colorado took a toll on us.
This time around, Angels Landing felt like a whole complete different experience,
I felt excitement and joy all over again as if it was my first time hiking this trail.
On this trip I made sure to record at all times whether it was with my phone,
Nikon camera, or even my GoPro which I had attached to my hiking backpack.
As you can see on the photos above, I felt this time I was able to capture different angles and views
right from the beginning of the hike all the way through the top of the ridge and other spots.
Honestly, even I had forgotten how insanely beautiful Angels landing looks from the trail.
Once we made it to the main section of the trail, we noticed how packed it was, to be frank it is always
this packed with full of people, maybe we weren't expecting to see many visitors that day.
Moving on next to the "extreme" ridge of the trail (which I do not consider that extreme) it is
certainly a bit dangerous, all you guys have to do is be cautious and careful on where to step.
As mentioned earlier, we had a large groups of people hiking in and out from the ridge,
so this is where it can get pretty busy and complicated to hike for most people, as usual
just wait your turn until the path is clear and in the meantime enjoy the view of
the mountains and take some shots away while you are waiting!
In case you guys didn't know not a lot visitors actually get to the top of the mountain,
which it is a shame because after a few hours of hiking if you didn't get to the
end of the trail it means you were not prepared to go for the full experience.
This section of hike is usually more empty and you can find any spots on the rocks to relax,
eat your lunch, take naps, or better yet just enjoy the entire valley of Zion National Park.
We spent the entire afternoon just relaxing and enjoying the scenery of the valley until we
headed down the trail spotting the sunset within the rocks, and man what a beautiful view!
Guys, I couldn't have been happier to be back in Angels Landing for one more time, as I always
say I will never get tired of visiting this place and I know I will be back in the near future as well!
Hope you guys enjoy this blog post and all the content about Angels Landing,
I will see you on the next post of this series!
